The 37th annual West Islip Country Fair is on the horizon, happening Sunday, September 22. The event, which will be held on the grounds of the West Islip Library at Higbie and Montauk Highway, features 300 craft vendors, a petting zoo, face painting stations, sand art, a slide and a bounce playroom.There's also great music entertainment for the older crowd:11:00–12:30 - New York's Most Dangerous Big Band1:00-2:30 - Six Gun Country Band2:45-3:35  -Country Dance Lessons with Sherry Palencia3:50-4:50 -  Joe Bayer BandFor those who love festival food, the list is long: Italian, Polish, Mexican, ice cream, french fries, sweet potatoes, funnel cakes, hot dogs, hamburgers and more.The West Islip Bicentennial event supports various programs and events throughout West Islip.
