Several West Islip alumni have been named to the Dean's List for the 2012 fall semester at their respective colleges. At the University of Scranton, four local students earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher: <ul> <li>Ryan Antonawich, freshman Biology major</li> <li>Mikayla Walton, junior Exercise Science major</li> <li>Kathleen White, senior Early and Primary Teacher Education major</li> <li>Faith Yusko,freshman Political Science major</li> </ul> Andrew Sheehan, a sophomore majoring in Moderate Disabilities, was named to the Dean's List at American international College.
