Registration of eligible kindergarten students in West Islip takes place in each elementary school annually. School policy states children must be five years of age on or before December 1 in order to be enrolled in kindergarten for the coming year. At the time of registration, a parent/guardian must present school officials with an original birth certificate, proof of residence, and a certificate of Immunization. The building school nurse will review the immunization documentation for completeness. No student will be admitted to school without the required immunizations.If you are unsure where to register your child, call the District Office at (631) 893-3200.Here are the upcoming registration dates at each school:           Bayview Elementary School            November 5 &amp; 6, 2013           Manetuck Elementary School          November 5 &amp; 6, 2013           Oquenock Elementary School          November 4 &amp; 5, 2013          Paul J.
