West Islip Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2022

WEST ISLIP , NY — Spending hours preparing and cleaning up after a big dinner isn’t for everyone. For those who want to skip the fuss, several restaurants open Thanksgiving Day in the West Islip area will cook turkey dinner — or something else entirely.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.

As always, Patch encourages you to call any restaurant on this list in advance to double-check hours on Thanksgiving Day, as many vary by location. Here are the local restaurants that plan to be open:

• Primi Italian Steakhouse, 999 Montauk Highway in W. Islip, 5 p.m to 9 p.m.
  • The steakhouse will offer a special Thanksgiving menu, featuring appetizers such as butternut squash bisque, entrées such as sliced turkey breasts and Berkshire pork chops entrées, and a pumpkin spiced white chocolate bread pudding dessert.
• Atlantis Diner, 350 Montauk Hwy in West Islip, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The diner will offer its regular menu, as well as specialty dishes such as roast turkey.
• Lily's of Babylon, 345 Deer Park Ave., Babylon
  • Each year, the Irish-American restaurant offers a large Thanksgiving Day Buffet which offers a turkey carving station, mashed potatoes, and holiday food. Reservations are $40 per person, and can be made for either a 1 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. seating time.
