3 Schoolchildren Charged In Altercation With Woman Walking Her Dogs

White Plains police said that a 12-year-old girl and two 13-year-old girls were charged in connection with the violent incident.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Three schoolchildren have been charged in an incident in which a group terrorized a woman walking her dogs, according to police.

The disturbing incident occurred in front of the Church Street School in White Plains, last month.

A 58-year-old woman was walking her dogs when she got into an altercation with a group of youths.

Now, police say a 13-year-old girl has been charged with attempted assault and menacing. A 12-year-old year girl has been charged with menacing. Another 13-year-old girl has been charged with menacing and aggravated harassment.

Orders of Protection were issued in this case, according to authorities.

Because of their ages, the three arrested will not be identified.
