“To most of us, dogs are family, but they can also be guides and protectors,” say Best Friends Pet Care manager Tara Manganiello. “Sometimes, they even give their lives for us. We designed this campaign to recognize the special dogs that serve and protect.”
Because of the success of the campaign, Manganiello said Best Friends will begin making donations twice each year. Proceeds from the Hero Suite over the next six months will be earmarked for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
