Youth Bureau Coat Drive Yields 100 Coats for Eastview Kids

On Saturday, December 17th, staff from Webster Bank and the White Plains Youth Bureau will be on hand to distribute 100 new coats to deserving children at Eastview Middle School, located on 350 Main Street, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Webster Bank employees and customers joined together to purchase coats for these youth and will participate in the festivities which will include games, music and a visit from Santa. Thanksgiving Dinner Thanks to White Plains Food Drive

 Mayor Thomas M. Roach announced that through the support of members of our community; local businesses and corporations, 87 needy White Plains families had food on their table this Thanksgiving. The Youth Bureau, which coordinated the effort, reached out to the school district and community partners to identify the families, each of whom received food baskets filled with a turkey and all the fixings for a complete Thanksgiving dinner.
