With a few giant corporations controlling every aspect from seed to plate, our small and mid-sized farmers are getting pushed out of business.
Over a five year period, 27,000 independent farmers were forced out of business by big agribusiness. When we lose our small farmers, consumers lose too as our access to a diversity of sustainably produced food is dramatically decreased.

This year the Farm Bill- the most important piece of agricultural legislation that determines how food is grown and reaches our plate- is up for review.
Senator Gillibrand is on the agricultural committee and has the opportunity to introduce legislation that could change the food system as we know it and break up big agri-business. But she needs to hear from her constituents, that we want her to step up to the plate and be a champion for small farmers, sustainable food and healthy communities.
We can make this happen. We can fix our food system. RSVP and join us Tonight, January 18th from 7:00-8:00pm at the White Plains Presbyterian Church to launch our Fair Farm Bill Campaign.
Please forward this email to 5 friends right now and help get the word out about this event! The more people we can get involved the more influential our voices will be!
See you tonight! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
