Security Cameras in Parks... Good or Bad Idea?
Many communities around the nation have been installing cameras in parks. Some of the camera's take videos that can be reviewed later, especially if a crime occurred. Other localities in the nation have installed more advance surveillance cameras. Technology exists so police cars can actually watch the video's from their cars.
The issue: camera's make people feel safer and help the police make arrests. Most of the residents who have contacted me have asked for the camera's. On the other hand, there are privacy issues.

A 10-Step Guide to Twitter in 140 Characters or Less
Twitter is a complex, often befuddling stream of babble, endless rants, linking, lots of spam, and other seemingly useless information. But with well over 100 million users, there are lots of good, useful conversations occurring on the sprawling social media website on a daily basis. And though a large portion of these conversations might be highly egocentric musings from all-star celebrities, many of them might also be about local businesses, events, and other relevant news that could be hugely important for businesses.

Katz Encourages Gun Owners to Opt-In to Privacy

What’s The 'Doughboy' Afraid Of?
When Ben and Jerry’s ice cream was becoming popular, the company wanted to expand its distribution of products to more stores. In 1984, Häagen-Dazs wanted to limit distribution of Ben & Jerry’s in Boston, prompting Ben & Jerry’s to file suit against the parent company, Pillsbury, in its now famous “What’s the Doughboy Afraid Of?” campaign. In 1987, Häagen-Dazs again tried to enforce exclusive distribution and Ben & Jerry’s filed a second lawsuit against the Pillsbury Company.
I can’t help but connect this scenario to what I saw occurring at the Town Board meeting on Tuesday, April 09, 2013 and subsequently read in the local papers.
