City Tattoo Artist to Appear on Spike TV Show
Mike Tacji, owner of Addicted to Ink in White Plains, will appear on the second season of "Ink Master" on Spike TV.

The steady hand, creative mind and energetic personality of a White Plains tattoo artist have landed him a spot on cable television.
Mike Tacji, owner of in White Plains, is one of 16 contestants expected to appear on Spike TV's "Ink Master" when it returns for a second season this fall. The show, which is the network's highest rated original program, pits tattoo artists from all over the country against each other, challenging their technical skills and on-the-fly creativity.
A Yonkers resident, Tacji has 14 years of tattoo experience and goes by the nickname "Little Mike". He got his start in the business by creating tattoo designs for friends and has had a passion for the industry ever since, according to a release from the show. He is the artist and owner at Addicted to Ink, which is located at 38 Westchester Ave.

As a contestant on "Ink Master", Tacji will create a tattoo on a person during each episode.
The 16 contestants are then judged by a panel that includes Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction, Chris Nunez of Miami Ink, Oliver Peck of Elm Street Tattoo and guest judges.

Judges eliminate a contestant each week until a lone artist remains. The winner receives a $100,000 grand prize as well as a feature in Ink Magazine
"Ink Master" premiers on Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. on Spike.
