Store Employee Accused of Larceny

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A department store employee faces a felony grand larceny charge after police say he used a return fraud scheme to steal more than $1,800 from Nordstrom.

Stanley Delince, 38, of Mamaroneck, was arrested on Oct. 10 after an internal investigation by store security, police say. Police believe Delince returned men's suits from the store's back stock and placed the value on his credit card.

Security said Delince stole from the store two times, once on Sept. 23 and again on Sept. 25. During the first incident, police say Delince credited his card with $969.96. Police say Delince took $866.97 the second time.

Security called police after discovering the incident. Delince, of 218 Delancey Ave., was charged at police headquarters and released on $500 bail.
