A Friendly Gathering in White Plains

The Friendly Gathering March 12

This annual landmark event will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 6:30 PM at the Kearney Gym at Good Counsel Campus, 52 North Broadway, White Plains, NY 10603.  El Centro Hispano and Isabel Villar will be recognized with the Msgr. Ed O'Brien Community Service Award for their compassionate service to the Hispanic Community of White Plains and the surrounding area. The evening features a corned beef and cabbage dinner, Irish songs by premier Sligo-style fiddler Brian Conway and his group, and a performance by The O'Rourke Academy of Irish Dance.  In addition, Panambi Vera, a Paraguayan Folkloric Dance Group, will also perform.  Advance tickets are $40 per person; $45 at the door.  Seniors: $30 advance; $35 at door.  More information at 798-1106.
