The Westchester American Heart Association 2011 Heart Walk event is set for October 2nd at Kensico Dam in Valhalla. Teams and individual walkers are encouraged to sign up now online at www.westchesterheartwalk.org.
The Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment and is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. The non-competitive walk raises funds to support heart disease and stroke research, as well as educational and advocacy programs in the Westchester area.
