Independenndence Day Showing of the Movie "Gettysburg"

Dear Friend of the White Plains Historical Society, 

If you're in White Plains tomorrow evening, you can celebrate Independence Day along with the saving of the Union at Gettysburg.

Come one, come all! 

As the Battle of Gettysburg comes to White Plains. ** July 4th **  bring an indoor picnic-dinner and join the commemoration of the 149th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg!  

The 1992 film "Gettysburg" will be shown on a large screen beginning at 5 p.m. (and ending at 9:30 pm!), but come anytime after 5 p.m.

A Civil War Surgeon/Re-Enactor will be on hand to demonstrate his trade, an exhibit of Civil War artifacts will also be on display.

Bring the family! Both Billy Yanks and Johnny Rebs are welcome…
