Pitch in for Battle Avenue Park

Each year the Battle Hill Association participates in Pitch in for Parks, sponsored by the Bronx River Conservancy and the County of Westchester.

Please join your neighbors and dedicated volunteers April 10. We will congregate at the cannon in the Chatterton Pkwy/Battle Avenue park to help restore the beauty to the area. Gloves, bags and clippers will be supplied by the sponsors.

All we need to bring are able-bodied individuals with a desire to see the gateway to our neighborhood and Bronx River Reserve  look its best. The day usually turns out to be a great success and a fun experience—so come join/meet your fellow neighbors at this worthwhile event!  

We will meet on Sunday (rain date April 17) at 12 noon.
