WHITE PLAINS, NY — A former White Plains police officer who suffered back injuries in 2011 when an assistant police chief slammed a rolling chair into a chair in which he was sitting will receive full benefits.
An appellate court judge said Michael Hannon was permanently incapacitated because of his psychological condition, News 12 reported.
Hannon, who said he was suffering from depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, returned to a light-duty job in 2012 but stopped working one year later.
