JazzFest White Plains Returns For 13th Year With 18 Live Performances
Headlining this year's celebration of music and culture are rising stars and jazz legends, organizers said.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Live jazz music will be wafting throughout downtown White Plains as JazzFest White Plains returns (along with the delicious aromas from a food festival).
The 18 concerts will take place between Sept. 11, and Sept. 15.
Headlining this year's celebration of music and culture are rising stars and jazz legends, organizers said, including Grammy-winner Nicole Zuraitis, and the Vijay Iyer Trio featuring Tyshawn Sorey and Linda May Han Oh.

"We’re thrilled to bring such exceptional talent to JazzFest White Plains this year," said Kathleen Reckling, ArtsWestchester COO. "From soul-stirring vocals to innovative instrumental compositions, this festival promises to be a celebration of jazz in all its forms."
Several performances are free, including all noon and Sunday shows.

On September 14, the Music Conservatory of Westchester (MCW) Faculty Jazz Ensemble will present The History of Jazz, a concert with musical selections representing the evolution of jazz and its growth throughout the 20th century. The free concert will take place in MCW's Recital Hall at 216 Central Ave. in White Plains and it will stream live online.
The White Plains Jazz & Food Festival will close the weekend on September 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Mamaroneck Avenue between Main Street and Martine Avenue. Organizers say the food festival will feature a fusion of delectable cuisines and captivating jazz melodies.
