Man Caught With Cocaine During Traffic Stop, Police Say

An expired inspection sticker led to the arrest of a Pleasantville man this week, after police say they found a clear Ziploc bag of cocaine in the driver's pocket.
The 41-year-old driver was pulled over near the intersection of Westchester and S. Kensico Avenue at about 11:19 p.m. Saturday night. After the driver told police he didn't have a license, he was placed under arrest.
Police say they found the cocaine in the man's pocket during a routine search.

The driver was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and released on $500 bail.
