Metro-North Announces Holiday Schedule For Trains
Customers should check the TrainTime app or the MTA website to see if their normal train times have been adjusted.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Metro-North Railroad trains will be operating during the holidays throughout the Hudson Valley, making for an easy way to beat traffic during the Christmas season and leading up to and during New Year’s Day.
On Sunday, Dec. 24, which is Christmas Eve, Metro-North will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
On Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, trains will operate on a special schedule with hourly service at most stations. The Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Lines will operate on Sunday schedule on Christmas Day.

Between Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Dec. 29. Metro-North will operate on a modified weekday schedule. Customers should check the TrainTime app or here to see if their normal train time has been adjusted.
For New Year’s Eve — Sunday, Dec. 31 — Metro-North will operate on a Sunday schedule. There will be additional outbound service from Grand Central Terminal operating after midnight until 5 a.m. On West of Hudson lines, additional service will run after midnight on the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines.
