How did you come up with the name?
With the help of my dad!
Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
ASmartNanny.com is run online but Hawthorne is centrally located in Westchester County which is appealing to many.

Childcare, Education
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
It was initially hard to find really good, college educated nanny and tutor candidates.
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
The main challenge would be getting my name out there in order to be considered a reputable local business.
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
My favorite moment has been the feeling of being extremely busy right before school starts!
What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
ASmartNanny.com provides college educated nannies and tutors and my customers just love the concept!
How do you deal with difficult customers?
It is rare as most of my customers are so great, but with as much sympathy and patience as possible.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
I try to volunteer and donate to as many local charities/events regarding kids as possible!
