Police Make Cocaine Arrest on Maple Avenue

A City man faces a felony drug charge after police say he was caught with cocaine in a parking garage on Maple Avenue.
Mark Smith, 53, of 135 S. Lexington Avenue, was arrested Thursday at about 8:45 p.m. in the parking garage at 192 Maple Avenue.
Police say the cocaine was in three separate clear bags and weighed about 800 milligrams. Smith was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree, a felony, and held for arraignment on Friday.
