Police: Man Caught Stealing 79 T-Shirts From Mall
The following arrest report was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

As if nearly 60 stolen T-shirts weren't enough, police say a Mt. Vernon man stole 58 T-shirts from in the Galleria of White Plains and then returned to another store and tried to take 21 more.
Mall security reports following a 41-year-old man out of the mall after they saw him remove 58 shirts from store shelves at Sears at about 5 p.m. Thursday. After watching the man dump the shirts in the mall parking garage, security told police they lost sight of the man for a while before seeing him leaving Forever 21 in the mall a few minutes later.
Security called police, and officers found the man at the Westchester County bus terminal on Ferris Avenue carrying 21 T-shirts from Forever 21.

Store managers at Forever 21 confirmed they were missing 21 shirts, and the 41-year-old suspect had no receipts to prove the purchase. Police charged the man with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
The total value of the 79 shirts was $651.23, police say.

The man was held for court the following day.
