Police: Rockland Woman Faces Felony for Fake ID

A fake ID and a Suffern woman's persistent attempt to use it to get into a White Plains bar resulted in a felony charge early Friday morning, police say.
A bouncer at on Mamaroneck Ave. a 20-year-old female that the license she used to try to get into the bar at about 12:25 a.m. looked fake, police say. When she maintained the New Jersey license was real, a police sergeant doing bar detail took a look at it as well.
Police say they were able to determine the license was fake and that the Suffern woman eventually told them she had bought it for $100 online.

She was charged with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument and held for court the following day.
