- Reduce dependence on air conditioning: You can make your air conditioning more efficient by lowering the temperature in your home and installing fans to circulate air and blinds to keep the sun out.
Finally, upgrading cooling equipment can save money in the long run since outdated cooling equipment can use a disproportionate amount of energy. Choosing a system with a higher efficiency rating is always the best bet.
