SCORE Westchester Hosts Marketing Workshop; Greenburgh Library Hosts "Hidden Treasures of Westchester"

- SCORE Westchester is hosting a workshop on marketing and public relations today at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop, which is being led by Robert Wycker, will consist of a 20-30 minute presentation, followed by an interactive session where most attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions concerning how to promote their business. SCORE Westchester is located at 120 Bloomingdale Rd. in White Plains.
- The White Plains Library will host "Puppets to Go Presents:The Tortoise and the Hare" today at 7 p.m. The Puppet shows is for children ages 5 and older. Contact Rosemary Rasmussen at 914-422-1476 for more information.
- Patrick Raftery, librarian of the Westchester County Historical Society, will present “The Hidden Treasures of Westchester County” 7 p.m, today inside the Greenburgh Public Library. The program will give attendees an "armchair tour" of Westchester. No registration required. The Greenburgh Public Library is located at 300 Tarrytown Road.
- Chappaqua resident Susan Feinberg was found dead in New York City Tuesday. Feinberg, 59, was discovered in a room at the Hilton Times Square hotel, according to the New York Police Department. No foul play is suspected.
- REC Solar, a national leader in solar electric system design and installation, is expanding operations in the state of New Yorkt and is looking to hire a new team of sales, marketing and construction professionals. Interested job seekers are encouraged to attend a today's REC Solar career fair. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn of Orangeburg-Rockland/Bergan, located at 329 Route 303 in Orangeburg, NY.
