The White Plains Common Council Meets Monday, YWCA Holds Open House for Infant/Toddler Program Wednesday

The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra is inviting local musicians to a complimentary rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6,  inside the Music Conservatory of Westchester, located at 216 Central Ave. in  White Plains. The first audition for the amateur community orchestra is free. Email info@newsymphony.org to RSVP to a rehearsal and go to www.newsymphony.org for additional information about the orchestra.

Hope Heyman, business advisor,  and other Small Business Development Center experts are hosting a workshop on "Starting Your Own Small Business/Expanding Your Existing Business”     at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 7, at the Greenburgh Library. The Greenburgh Library is located 300 Tarrytown Rd. in Elmsford.
