Pitch In For Parks
Hosted by Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department, Pitch In For Parks is the largest County-wide volunteer program surrounding Earth Day. For five days, volunteers will be weeding, mulching, planting flowers, managing invasive plants, performing trail maintenance, and more. Perfect for families and volunteers 14+.
Date: April 18-April 22; multiple opportunities

Annual Autism Resource and Provider Fair
Volunteers are needed to assist the organizers of the 11th Annual Autism Resource and Provider Fair with setting up tables and chairs and distributing informational pamphlets, gift bags, and other items. Volunteers must be 16+ in order to participate, and all volunteers will receive a short orientation at the start of their shift.
Date: April 13 from noon to 4:30 p.m.

NAMI HelpLine Specialists
HelpLine Specialists are volunteers with lived experiences who provide a vital service to the community by responding with empathy to inquiries by phone call, web chat and text — as well as valuable information and resources — to those affected by mental health conditions. Volunteers must be 18+.

"Day in the Life" Virtual Connections for Seniors
Volunteers are needed to record video clips of their everyday activities — such as eating, sleeping, exercising, trips, sporting events, schoolwork and weekend fun — that will then be shared with isolated seniors in New Rochelle to feel engaged with their fellow neighbors. All volunteers receive guidance and training before creating a video; volunteers must be between the ages of 13-65.

New York Milk Bank Interns
The New York Milk Bank is dedicated to improving the health and survival of infants in need by providing them with safely pasteurized donor human milk when their mothers’ own milk is unavailable or insufficient. It is seeking two mature and independent teens 2-3 times per week after school (from 3 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.) to assist with assembling packets, packing orders for outpatients and assisting lab technicians. Volunteers must be high school teens between the ages of 16-18.
Date: Weekly from 3 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.
