White Plains BID Hosts Wing Walk Saturday

WHITE PLAINS, NY — If you’re partial to wings, then White Plains is the place to be Saturday during the Downtown White Plains Wing Walk.

Sponsored by the White Plains BID, the Wing Walk will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Online ticket sales end at 11:59 p.m. Friday. Day-of tickets are limited, organizers said.

General admission is $25 online or $30 on the day. Tickets for children age 5 to 10 are $15 online and $20 on the day. Children under 5 are free.

Time slots are noon to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be 18 restaurants participating, with most offering two flavors.

• Cantina Taco and Tequila Bar: 1) Pineapple Coconut; 2) Lemon Pepper
• Delicias Del Jireh: 1) Ceviche Wings
• FreeBird Kitchen and Bar: 1) Sweet and Sour Bourbon
• Hudson Grille: 1) Sake and Curry; 2) Mango Habanero
• Lazy Boy Saloon: 1) Tequila Citrus; 2) Buffalo – Mild
• Lilly’s: 1) Dry Rub; 2) Jerk
• Mario’s Pizza: 1) BBQ; 2) Buffalo – Mild
• The Melting Pot: 1) Teriyaki Glaze; 2) Brown Sugar Bourbon Rub

On Saturday, ticket holder must check in up to 15 minutes before their start time, at one of the check-in locations to pick up their wristbands, voucher for six additional wings and a map. You will not be able to sample wings without a wristband.

Check-in locations are Renaissance Plaza at Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue; entrance to the Chester-Maple Garage between 200 and 202 Mamaroneck Avenue and the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and E. Post Road in front of the Mitchell Apartment Building.

Guests are encouraged to rate each tasting on the ballot. All votes must be received by 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

The winner will be announced on social media Saturday night.
