White Plains Seeks Developers' Plans For Downtown Properties
City puts out a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) to attract developers to parcels near train station.
WHITE PLAINS, NY - Seeking to redevelop a series of downtown parcels, the City of White Plains is putting out feelers for interested developers.
The city gives a detailed overview of the parcels, which are near the White Plains train station, in a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI), which was released earlier this month.
A copy of the RFEI can be found here.

The parcels, which combined are about 4.5 acres, include three owned by the city and one owned by a local urban-renewal agency. The properties fall within what White Plains is calling a "transit district," due to their proximity to local transportation hubs. Six months ago, the city released a strategic plan for the area, which can be found here.
The RFEI gives applicants a July 7 deadline for submitting questions to the city, a July 14 for the city's responses and an Aug. 18 deadline to send in formal expressions of interest.
