
1.) Soulful Sounds to Play Renaissance Plaza Today at Noon
The band Soulful Sounds is scheduled to play at the Renaissance Plaza in White Plains as part of the city’s “Noon Day Concerts” series. The series, which is put on by the White Plains Recreation & Parks Department, is free and open to the public. Renaissance Plaza is located at the corner of Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue.
2.) Check Your Body Mass Index at the White Plains Library
Stop by the White Plains Library from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to get your BMI tested in only two minutes. Come and talk with Sandy Gallo, RN, to help understand what your BMI results mean, weight loss options and how your numbers may affect your risk for health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. 3.) "A Bottle at the Sea" Being Shown at the Greenburgh Library
The Hadassah Film Festival: Jewish Perspectives is showing A Bottle in the Gaza Sea. The movie follows the story of a teenaged girl who has emigrated to Israel from France. She puts a message in a bottle expressing disbelief that Israelis and Palestinians cannot overcome hate, and her brother throws it into the Gaza Sea while on military duty there. 2 p.m., Greenburgh Public Library, Route 119.

4.) The Blair Magic Show and Toy Story 3 Scheduled for Tonight’s “Neighborhood Night’s Program.”
The Blair Magic show is performing at Battle Hill Park, located at Battle Hill in White Plains, tonight at 7 p.m. as part of the White Plains recreation department's "Neighborhood Nights" program. Also, at 8:15 p.m., there will a viewing of the movie Toy Story 3 at Gardella Park, located on Ferris Avenue. Both events are free and open to the public.
5.) Free Interfaith Ramadan Dinner July 25th @ Double Tree Hotel in Tarrytown
An Intercultural Ramadan Dinner, Hosted by the Turkish Cultural Center of Westchester and held 7 p.m. tonight at the Double Tree Hotel in Tarrytown, promoting peace and harmony between the 3 Abrahamic Religions. There will be a live music performance along with traditional dancing by the whirling dervishes. It is a free event open to all. RSVP is required at rsvp@tccwestchester.org.
