The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Sleepy Hollow man who police say turned the wrong way on a one-way street early Saturday morning has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

Police say the 34-year-old suspect was driving his blue Dodge van east-bound on West Post Road at about 4 a.m. when he made an illegal left turn onto South Lexington Avenue. A nearby police officer said he honked at the man to get his attention, but that the driver proceeded down the one-way street anyway.

After making a traffic stop near 135 South Lexington Ave., police say they noticed alcohol on the driver's breath. The driver was given a field sobriety test—which he failed according to arrest reports.
