Behold: Instant Karma on Kent Avenue
The transit gods (and Gothamist editor John Del Signore) descended from heaven to punish an SUV drifting into the bike lane Thursday.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — An act of divine justice was captured on Kent Avenue early Thursday by Gothamist managing editor John Del Signore.
"I took this pic today," Del Signore wrote on Twitter later that day, beneath a photo of the avenue's protected (yet chronically disrespected) two-way bike lane.
The photo appears to have been taken at Kent's intersection with South 9th Street, near the Williamsburg Montessori school.

.@PSteely says NYPD needs to get priorities straight on cyclists. (I took this pic today) https://t.co/v7elJoDrWt pic.twitter.com/vQV8K4bB82

So much to drink in, here.
A black minivan lodged upon the lane barrier, nose to the sky, three of four wheels airborne and helpless. An embarrassed driver, disembarked and standing, equally helpless, in the middle of the street. A Disney-handsome cyclist hero breezing past in a purple windbreaker, the pitiful yet wonderfully karmic scene he's just witnessed still etched on his beautiful face. And to top it all off, in the background, a red-white-and-blue semi truck blocking the entirety of Kent, just in case our minivan hadn't gotten the job done in full.

And without doubt, Gothamist managing editor John Del Signore will pass by at that exact moment to immortalize the moment on camera. Because that is the rightful way of things in the streets of New York City.
