FOUND: Dog on Williamsburg Streets Rescued, Taken to Meet Santa

'Leroy' the pit/Rottie mix with a cute underbite, was found roaming alone on Wednesday morning. Do you know this dog?

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Some wonderful citizens took a dog they found on the streets of Williamsburg last night to see Santa Claus before they brought him to a rescue today.

A neutered male hound/Rottweiler mix who appears to be well-cared-for was found at 2 a.m. early Wednesday morning on South 3rd Street in Williamsburg, the rescue said. He was found in a collar attached to a chain leash with a handle that was chewed through.

The boy, who they're calling Leroy, is about 55 lbs., friendly with both people and dogs, and has a precious slight underbite.
