MTA Conductor Punches Williamsburg Traffic Cop: NYPD

Moises Gonzalez, 53, allegedly pushed and punched the NYPD traffic agent over a parking ticket.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Apparently even transportation workers get pissed off when they can’t get out of a ticket.

An off-duty MTA train operator allegedly beat an NYPD traffic cop over a parking ticket around 12:40 p.m. Jan. 29, at the corner of Broadway and Havemeyer Street in Williamsburg, a police spokesman told Patch.

MTA train operator Moises Gonzalez, 53, allegedly pushed and punched the on-duty traffic agent, who sustained bruising and swelling to the right shoulder.

Gonzalez was arrested around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday in Williamsburg and is charged with second-degree assault in what police said is his first arrest.
