Organization That Promotes Affordable Housing And Food In Williamsburg Seeks Volunteers
Los Sures aims to help people who have lived in Williamsburg for generations to afford to keep living there.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Los Sures, an organization that helps people who have lived in Williamsburg for generations stay in the neighborhood, is seeking volunteers. The local group has helped rehab several old, dilapidated buildings in Williamsburg to help families keep living in a space that is comfortable, sustainable and safe.
Los Sures works in Williamsburg to promote affordable housing, community social services, food pantry services and a hydroponic farm, a senior center and community organizing, among other projects. The organization is looking for volunteers to help with urban faming, community events, pantry and food distribution and data entry, it said.
