Police Identify Two People Found Dead Inside Williamsburg Home

WILLIAMSBURG, NY — Police released the identity of the two people found dead inside a Williamsburg apartment over the weekend.

Officers found Jaran Canady, 28, and Alyssa Grippo, 24, unconscious, lying face down in the bedroom of their North Eight Street apartment on Sunday at about 1:20 p.m., the NYPD said.

EMS pronounced both Canady and Grippo dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of their death, but the New York Daily News reported it's suspected they died of an overdose.
