WILLIAMSBURG, NY — A woman swiped a pricey stroller from a Williamsburg street after its owner left it outside a building last month, police said.

The owner left her stroller, which cost more than $1,000, in front of a Penn Street building on April 18 when a woman walking by grabbed it and fled at about 4 p.m., a spokesman for the NYPD said.

When the victim went back outside about 10 minutes later, she noticed the stroller was gone and called the police.
