Two People Found Dead Inside Williamsburg Apartment, Police Say

WILLIAMSBURG, NY — A man and a woman were found dead inside a Williamsburg apartment on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers found the 28-year-old man and 24-year-old woman lying facedown unconscious in the bedroom of an apartment on North Eighth Street, near Wythe Avenue, at about 1:20 p.m., the NYPD said.

Medical workers pronounced the pair dead at the scene, police said. The NYPD has not released the names of the people yet.

Sources told the New York Daily News that officer didn't find evidence of a break-in, weapons or trauma to the bodies.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of their death, police said.
