Williamsburg Man Dies After Being Struck and Dragged by Tractor Trailer: Police
21-year old Moshe Weiner was walking to his car when he was hit. He died in hospital later that afternoon, police said.

WILLIAMSBURG, NY — A 21-year-old Williamsburg man was hit and killed by a tractor trailer on Kent Avenue late Thursday morning, police said. At around 11 a.m., Moshe Weiner was walking to his car on Kent near S. 10th Street when he was struck, according to the NYPD.
JP Updates reported that Weiner was walking to his van when a truck that delivered plumbing supplies caught him and dragged him a whole block before stopping.

Weiner was taken to Beth Israel Hospital and pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m., police said.

The driver remained at the scene of the accident, police said. The incident is still under investigation by the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad.
