Williamsburg Warehouse Party Joins The "Resisdance"
A Brooklyn warehouse party with a diverse DJ lineup is raising money for Planned Parenthood.
EAST WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — An NYC organization called The Resisdance is exactly what it sounds like: A collective throwing parties to raise money and awareness for political causes that it believes are being "negatively effected" by Donald Trump's administration.
The Resisdance is throwing its latest party in an East Williamsburg warehouse to raise money for Planned Parenthood. The group promises "a female-heavy lineup of funky beats, deep house and techno," and "epic views over the city and digital mapping and projections designed by a local artist."
The Resisdance is attempting to keep the momentum alive from the Women's March in February, it said. The DJ lineup is as follows:

"#wedancefor Women's reproductive rights, no ban, no wall, black lives matter, LGBTQ rights, immigrants rights, environmental protection!" organizers wrote on the party's Facebook event.
The party takes place at 230 Bogart St. in East Williamsburg, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets in advance are $18. Buy them here.
