Williamsburg's The Levee Features Trump, Putin Mural
The large mural, called "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," is a winking Putin holding a Trump mask.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN – Williamsburg bar The Levee unveiled a new political mural on Tuesday completed by artist Damien Mitchell, which features Vladimir Putin winking and holding a Donald Trump mask. The mural facing North 3rd Street is called "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle."
The Levee is one of the last remaining first-generation Williamsburg bars, with billiards, cheeseballs and floors that smell like beer.
Requests for comment from Mitchell and a manager at the bar were not immediately returned.
