Women Arrested For Snatching Packages From Williamsburg Apartment Building

Two women are still at large in connection with the burglary.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Two women have been arrested and two more are at large after they broke into the mail room of an apartment building in Williamsburg and stole packages from it, police said.

The women entered the apartment building Manhattan Avenue and Meserole Street on Thursday, Sept. 14, around 2:30 p.m., police said.

From there, they entered the mail room and took multiple packages that were addressed to tenants of the building, police said.

After fleeing the scene, two of the women were arrested in front of 54 Boerum Street, police said. They were both charged with burglary, and one was also hit for criminal trespassing and possession of stolen property, police said.

Police are looking for two other women, who are pictured above.
