16th Annual Brooklyn Pride Comes to Bartel-Pritchard Square
A family-friendly day in support of LGBT rights.

On June 9, Bartel-Pritchard Square will again play host to the annual Brooklyn Pride celebration, now in its 16th year.
The celebration comes at an interesting juncture in gay rights: Earlier this month, President Obama became the first, in stark contrast to an amendment passed in North Carolina just 24-hours earlier that defined marriage as strictly between a man and a woman.
Below is the celebration's current schedule of events, courtesy of Brooklynpride.org.
