20-Year-Old Man Found Dead Along Prospect Park Expressway in Windsor Terrace

Ian McDonald, ​Jr. was found at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — A 20-year-old New Lots man was found dead Sunday along the Prospect Park Expressway in Windsor Terrace, police said.

Ian McDonald, Jr. was found at about 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 on the shoulder of the road near Exit 3, which is where the expressway passes Prospect Park West, according to police.

First responders found McDonald unconscious and with severe body trauma, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD's Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad is looking into the incident, and the cause of death will be determined by the city's medical examiner.

As of Monday morning, the NYPD did not have any updates into the investigation.
