A Look Inside Lark Cafe

The Church Avenue business opened its doors to customers for the first time Friday

After months of planning and setting those plans into motion, Lark Cafe opened its doors for the first time on Friday, July 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Patrons had a wide selection of baked goodies and local treats, including Bagel Hole bagels, Dough doughnuts, Magpies poptarts and Blue Marble icecream. In addition to the great eats, kids were happy to get to play while their parents caffeined-up.

Lark owners and Ditmas Park residents Kari Browne and Lori Kranczer  to discuss the opening and the need to create such a business.

"I wanted to create something because there was a need," Kranczer, mother of two, attorney and fundraiser for a nonprofit said. "Just because you're a parent doesn't mean you can't go out and get a really goed cup of coffee."

Lark Cafe is located at 1007 Church Avenue.
