
Key Food is officially gone.
Though the supermarket's manager Mike Jording that the store wouldn't be shuttering until June 30, Key Food nevertheless locked its doors for the last time on Thursday.
As of Friday morning, the shelves were already mostly bare, save for a few rows of Entenmann's pastries (oddly, one of the few products residents will surely still be able to buy ).

In the meantime, a canned food drive will be held at , and Councilman Brad Lander is organizing so residents without cars can hitch rides to other nearby supermarkets.
