By this we mean someone that is multi-talented and can/will do whatever needs to be done at any given time.

Essentially, we're looking for an assistant for the boss. Someone that can do pretty much everything that he does now for about 4 hours per day (possibly more if you want the hours) - freeing him up for sales, business development etc.

It recently struck us that this is an ideal job for a parent whose kids are at school and who wants to work part-time during those hours.

The job description is broad and will change daily but includes the following:

- administrative work: answering phones, order processing, answering emails, data entry, very light book-keeping

- shipping/receiving: must be able to lift 40 - 50lbs over and over again, sometimes for a couple of hours while un/loading a pallet of pies, order packing, occasional local deliveries. (We're serious about this - if heavy lifting a day or two a week is not your thing - this job won't suit.)

- there are many other aspects to the job - it's kind of like a personal/executive assistant role but has some occasional repetitive lifting involved.

- the exact work hours can be negotiated but some flexibility would make everything run a lot smoother for everyone. 9am/10am to 1pm/2pm will be usual but occasional earlier start may be needed.

- own transport would be ideal (but not essential) as the work location is not immediately near the subway.

- pay commensurate with experience but the right person will see pay increase. 4 hour days are likely - more hours may be possible if that's what you want.

Please send a quick cover letter explaining why you'd like to do this job and include a resume to info@dubpies.com.

Please don't come to the cafe looking for an interview (we're sticklers for following instructions!) - we will only interview people we've invited to come and chat about the job.
