La Piazza Pizzeria No More

It seems La Piazza Pizzeria has finally shuttered for good. 

We received a tip last week that the Windsor Terrace restaurant, located at 229 Prospect Park West, was shut down for non-payment of rent, but when we checked a few days later, it appeared to be open for business. 

Now, though, its doors are locked, and a sign announcing that the space is up for sale is plastered in the window. 

Calls to the owner were not immediately returned.
