The Bicycle Thief
A 51-year-old Kensington woman returned to her home on East 4th Street and Avenue C earlier this month to discover that it had been burglarized.

The victim told cops that she came home on March 7 to discover that her dining room window was open, and that someone had taken her credit cards, electronics and bicycle.
No arrests have been made.

Senior Robbed on Ocean Parkway
A 70-year-old man was robbed while walking along Ocean Parkway near Cortelyou Road.
Police say the man was walking southbound along the Ocean Parkway service road on March 9 when he was grabbed from behind. The perps held the senior citizen's arms behind his back, pulled his credit cards out from his pockets and took off westbound down the service road.
No arrests have been made.
Bathroom Burglar
A burglar crept through the bathroom window of a Dahill Road and Church Avenue home on March 10, removing an armload of valuables before slipping out the bedroom window.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, told police the perp made off with the electronics and jewelry that were in her bedroom. Because the bedroom window was unlocked, the victim surmises the burglar took off through there, rather than exiting back through the bathroom.
No arrests have been made.
Cell Phone Snatching
A 39-year-old woman's cell phone was snatched by a man on a bike near Albermarle Road and McDonald Avenue.
Police reports state that the victim was walking to the grocery store on March 10 when a man riding a bicycle came up next to her, plucking the phone from her hands before riding off.
No arrests have been made.
