Police Blotter: Man Assaulted on St. Patrick's Day

Don't Sleep in the Subway

A Kensington woman awoke from a nap on the F train last Thursday to find that her bag, which had been resting on her lap, was missing.

The victim, 28, told cops she had been drinking prior to boarding the train, and fell asleep upon sitting down. She cannot recall at what point the bag was taken.

Apartment Ransacking

A 26-year-old man returned to his apartment near Avenue C and Albemarle Road Friday to find that he had been robbed.

The perp, who entered the building through the fire escape window, stole the contents of the top drawer of the victim's dresser and ransacked the apartment.

No arrests have been made.

 

St. Patrick's Day Assault

A 30-year-old man was assaulted as he was leaving a bar on St. Patrick's Day.

The victim told police he was leaving a bar near Coney Island and Ditmas avenues last Saturday when he was attacked by three men, one of whom hit him in the face with a glass bottle, causing a gash.

The perp, a 25-year-old man, has been arrested.
